I learned tonight that I know a lot of people who really could care less about me. I created this blog so that the people, whom I thought cared, could stay tuned as to what was happening in my life. Apparently, the majority of the population is full of shit and really doesn't care. Shame on me for caring about others and assuming that by them asking me questions that meant they cared in return.
Also - for those who have known me a long time - I have never really complained about all the things I've experienced in life. Right now... I am. I absolutely hate that I have seen horrible things. I absolutely hate that I have said horrible things. I absolutely hate that I have done horrible things. I absolutely hate all of the horrible things that I have made it through only to end up as a lost 28 year old woman. Twice married. No children. Still in school. The list could go on and on. But rather than bore you with my whining, I'll stop. For a while at least.
Live and learn I guess.
Here's a couple things I re-discovered tonight.
1. I can not please everyone.
2. Not every person has to like me. Because I do not like every person.
3. My value is not determined by what others think of me, rather by how I am seen in God's eyes.

Happy Monday to ME!!!
As you know, I had an interview at Raytheon last week. It went really well and they told me I'd hear back soon. Well I woke up this morning and figured I'd send an email cause I hadn't heard anything yet. I got on the computer, drafted an email and then sat there. I looked it over and wasn't sure it sounded right. That's when the phone rang. It was the HR gals from Raytheon. YAY! They called to offer me the position of HR Intern and of course I accepted. The pay is definitely a HUGE cut for me, but that's alright. This experience is going to sky-rocket me into another galaxy! I really can't wait. I start next Monday. It's part time. 25 hours per week. I actually think that will work out nicely because I'm cleaning my friend's house every few weeks as well as hopefully doing some proofreading work for a mentor of mine. And during the interview they said that there is a STRONG possibility of this position becoming full time. FINGERS CROSSED!!
The weekend was fine. Friday I picked up the squirt. We chilled out and played. Sat we stayed home and just played again. Nothing major. Then Sunday I babysat up in Lafayette for some friends. Man, that wore me out! I was pooped that night. I will be back up there again this coming Friday. Probably the most useful thing I did in the last week was read the entire Twilight series. All 4 books. And saw the movie again. I'm hooked. I seriously can not get enough of this. It's crazy, really.
That's it for now. I will keep ya'll in the loop as to any potential movement anywhere else.

So far... a terrific week
Sunday I dilly dallied around and didn't really do much. CC came down in the evening and we went to the Texas Whorehouse. Yes, it is Steakhouse, but we say Whorehouse. Anyways... we went there and gorged ourselves on beef, potatoes and of course rolls. YUM. She stayed over, which was nice and we stayed up late chatting away. OH. And we watched Zack and Miri make a Porno. HILLARIOUS!!! OMG, we laughed so hard. It was great. Monday we slept in some and then Daddy and I went on a hike at Dinosaur Ridge. It wasn't a bad hike, but I am so out of shape. I was sweaty! We took my friend's pup - Ted. He's a 4.5 lb Pomeranian. Quite the little dude. Anyways, the weather was great and I'm so glad we got out for a couple hours. It was great. ALSO - I got a call from schmatheon and they wanted to have an in-person interview with me on Wednesday at 3pm. YAY!! I was so excited. Tuesday was chill. I had class that night and we got out early again which was awesome. There are only 4 students in the class, so it's hard to stretch the material to make it last 4 hours. Then Wednesday I had my interview. It went great. I met with two different gals - both of whom were so so nice. Then afterward I headed to my friend's house to visit for a bit. She's the one that's moving to MD next week. It's hard because I'm so excited for her - but sad at the same time. Change is good. I just need to keep reminding myself of that.
Then today Daddy and I went hiking again. Different trail. The loop was 2.7 miles total and very very nice. Another beautiful day in Colorado. This really has been the most bizarre winter ever. In May I'll have lived here for 9 years (crazy!) and in that time there has never been this warm of a winter. It's nuts. But I'm not complaining. I love the sunshine and warm weather. Snow and ice is meant for the mountains - which is where it should always stay.
Not sure what's happening this weekend. We have the squirt of course on Friday - Saturday. But I think it's supposed to rain on Saturday. That's ok. We have plenty of fun stuff to play inside.
I guess that's it for now. I'll keep you up to date as to what happens with the interview. Hopefully I'll hear back soon.
Later daisies.
