So far... a terrific week

Sunday I dilly dallied around and didn't really do much. CC came down in the evening and we went to the Texas Whorehouse. Yes, it is Steakhouse, but we say Whorehouse. Anyways... we went there and gorged ourselves on beef, potatoes and of course rolls. YUM. She stayed over, which was nice and we stayed up late chatting away. OH. And we watched Zack and Miri make a Porno. HILLARIOUS!!! OMG, we laughed so hard. It was great. Monday we slept in some and then Daddy and I went on a hike at Dinosaur Ridge. It wasn't a bad hike, but I am so out of shape. I was sweaty! We took my friend's pup - Ted. He's a 4.5 lb Pomeranian. Quite the little dude. Anyways, the weather was great and I'm so glad we got out for a couple hours. It was great. ALSO - I got a call from schmatheon and they wanted to have an in-person interview with me on Wednesday at 3pm. YAY!! I was so excited. Tuesday was chill. I had class that night and we got out early again which was awesome. There are only 4 students in the class, so it's hard to stretch the material to make it last 4 hours. Then Wednesday I had my interview. It went great. I met with two different gals - both of whom were so so nice. Then afterward I headed to my friend's house to visit for a bit. She's the one that's moving to MD next week. It's hard because I'm so excited for her - but sad at the same time. Change is good. I just need to keep reminding myself of that.

Then today Daddy and I went hiking again. Different trail. The loop was 2.7 miles total and very very nice. Another beautiful day in Colorado. This really has been the most bizarre winter ever. In May I'll have lived here for 9 years (crazy!) and in that time there has never been this warm of a winter. It's nuts. But I'm not complaining. I love the sunshine and warm weather. Snow and ice is meant for the mountains - which is where it should always stay.

Not sure what's happening this weekend. We have the squirt of course on Friday - Saturday. But I think it's supposed to rain on Saturday. That's ok. We have plenty of fun stuff to play inside.

I guess that's it for now. I'll keep you up to date as to what happens with the interview. Hopefully I'll hear back soon.

Later daisies.
